Active in NE Iowa Since 2008
Beginning out of a response to an immigration raid in Postville, Iowa, the Northeast Iowa Peace & Justice Center addresses progressive issues through education, advocacy and action. We’re a resource for information, a network for support, and a space to organize.
Speakers from around the region regularly present at NEIPJC, all with a focus on action to create a just, sustainable and equitable community.
Community lead working groups meet regularly, each with a central focus on an issue such as Immigration or Pronoun Education. Our working groups offer hands-on opportunities to make a difference in NE Iowa.
The Northeast Iowa Peace & Justice Center works tirelessly to promote non-violent solutions to social, economic and environmental injustices. There is no limit to what we can do to build the life we seek to live here in NE Iowa.
